SPINNING WHEEL RIDE

Samsara is a Sanskrit word that means “the ever turning wheel of life” and is the point of departure for the filmmakers as they search for the elusive current of interconnection that runs through our lives.
Filmed over a period of almost five years and in twenty-five countries, the movie transports us to sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial sites, and natural wonders. By dispensing with dialogue and descriptive text, Samsara subverts our expectations of a traditional documentary, instead encouraging our own inner interpretations inspired by images and music that infuses the ancient with the modern.

The filmmakers approach non verbal filmmaking with an understanding that it must live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence.
Samsara was photographed entirely in 70mm film utilizing both standard frame rates and with a motion control time-lapse camera designed specifically for this project. This camera system allows perspective shifts to reveal extraordinary views of ordinary scenes. The images were then transferred through the highest resolution scanning process available to the new 4K digital projection format that allows for mesmerizing images of unprecedented clarity.

BIG THINGS HAVE SMALL BEGINNINGS

Ridley Scott is back and fortunately it's not for a remake, but for a prequel named Prometheus, starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and the lovely Charlize Theron. It's the prequel of all prequels... it's the prequel of the Alien saga.
The only things that we acknowledged from the trailer is that a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe
Tell you what i will do on the 8th of June: I'll grab a huge bucket of popcorns and shut down my phone for a couple of hours. What about that.

ABOBO IS BACK !!

Those around 30 who back in the days had the chanche -and the luck- to put their tiny chubby hands on the first, epic, unforgettable episode of the Double Dragon serie on the NES they could never forget one intimidating big headed dude: Abobo. He was tough as nails, and he also had a lot of heart: even if you beat him badly he kept coming back as final boss or teaming up with other thugs. For many years to follow me and my fellow nerds we were using his name to refer to those rude older boys. Now you should understand how exited I am as i'm going to present probably the coolest game of all times: Abobo's Big Adventure.

The development of the game began way back in 2002 when Roger Barr set out to have Abobo fight his way through a variety of classic NES games in search of his lost son, Aboboy. Roger teamed up with a programmer who went by the name "Bane" at the time and they started putting the first levels together. Unfortunately, the Abobo game kept getting sidetracked due to each of them working on other game projects at the same time (including Domo-Kun's Angry Smashfest).

The Abobo project stayed on the backburner for years, but Roger always hoped to return to it eventually. He was lucky enough to meet Nick and Luis who both shared a love for classic 8-bit games and stuffing games full of ridiculous humor. After working on some other games like "Trick or Treat Adventure Quest" together, the three of them started to recreate the original Abobo game from scratch in 2006. Nick worked up a whole new game system, Pox recreated the existing graphics and Roger developed a big story for Abobo to really dive into... fists first. It was a daunting project, but like all labors of love, it's something that simply had to be done.

The trio have been working on this game for ages with one simple goal: make Abobo's Big Adventure the *ultimate* tribute to the Nintendo Entertainment System. This is the game that any kid who grew up on the NES always dreamed of playing and it goes beyond anything the system ever could've been capable of.

For those of you wondering if the game will be for sale, the answer is NO. Abobo's Big Adventure is simply a labor of love and will be available to play for free on the web. The game really pushes the limits of what Flash is capable of and you will soon have control of the most unappreciated, brutal, rage-fueled character in the entire pixelated universe in your hands.

EVIL DREAMS

This amazing cinematic footage offers a good glimpse into the gritty, evolving story of Diablo III. As Deckard Cain's niece, Leah, struggles to make sense of her uncle's mysterious and disturbing notations, she bears witness to a dark vision. Azmodan, Lord of Sin, towers over the fragile young woman, swearing his armies of the burning Hells shall pour forth into Sanctuary, ravishing the world and all hope of resistance.
HIGH definition is HIGHLY recomended.

SPARE TIME ACTION

The new Forum Snowboards' video is dropping on October 18th and it's named Vacation. Even if the mighty John Jackson won't be in this one due to an injury, you can still expect some rad shredding from both veterans and youngbloods.
Crack open a cold one, or kick-start the blender and fire up that PiƱa Colada — it’s time to celebrate! Forum is proud to announce the newest installment in their vast library of team-inspired videos. After winning back-to-back awards for Forever and Fuck It, a little team Vacation was long overdue. This last season was all about taking advantage of traveling on someone else’s dime, and focusing more on good times than hard work. Ironically, when the pressure went down, the progression of snowboarding went up ... way up.

TOUGH AS NAILS

Danny Trejo always had minor roles untill Machete came out. Well... not exactly. In 2005 he has been the protagonist of Champion, a very inspiring documentary about his crazy life. Even if this is an award winning film and it features stars such as Dennis Hopper, Steve Buscemi and Val Kilmer just a few noticed it. We strongly reccomend to switch off that damn tv and just go for it.

LOLLIPOP MASSACRE

Suda 51 is back, and he's still all about sex blood and rock'n'roll. This time he replaced Travis with Juliet, a britney Spears look alike cheerleader, gangsters with zombies and the beam katana with a bloody chainsaw. Do you think this is recycling the No More Heroes concept? It probably is, but there's nothing wrong with recycling gold.

BURNING HOOPS

The new Nba Jam is one of the best reboots in the history of gaming. It's like they used some sort of magic spell that makes it playable on a daily basis for ten years without getting tired of it. But it seems at EA Sports they don't care about this, as they decided to release an even better one called Nba Jam On Fire Edition.
Basically it's an improved version with more crazy moves, more efficient artificial intelligence, team fire, online features, and -of course- updated rosters. Everybody razzle dazzle!

LET THE SHIPHUNT BEGIN

Here's the challenge: how good are you at scanning the oceanic depths of Google Earth in search for sunken ship?

If you're not too used to Google Earth, or if you never gave it a try, this is the right moment to install the plugin on your browsers and experience the amazing sansation of holding the world in your hand.

BIGGER BOLDER BETTER

Conduit 2 has finally been released on the old continent. You already know it, playing a good fps on wii could be something near to having good sex, and this is the first one that features the Wiimotion Plus technology in order to create the most responsive control system ever, as well as improved edge tracking and transitions to pointer control. It's not required for playing, but a welcome bonus for those looking for a bit more precision in their online and offline play. I think there's no need to add further words here, let's just keep playin it... and playin it... and playin it...
