I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT

“This mix ended up being a lot of different things. They are mainly influences of mine, but arranged in a way that would flow. After a night out, the last thing I want to hear is more noise. These are my favorite sparse, moody and beautiful songs. This is what I’d want to listen to on a drive home"
André Allen Anjos, founder of RAC

MICKEY'S KALEIDOSCOPE

Some nostalgia is just what Ed Banger records was missing, and the freshman is providing some quality one. This is the closing track of Mickey's Moonlight enchanting album "And The Time Axis Manipulation Corporation"
A lot of people may probably find this hippie vocoder sound a little bit old and akward. The same reasons why we're loving it.

ACOUSTIC KIDS

Like a Version is a segment on the Australian radio station Triple J which pops up whenever artists are available and willing to do it, though mainly on the Breakfast show. It involves Australian, and more recently, international artists playing live, acoustic versions of some of their favourite songs. This segment's popularity has led to, so far, the release of six compilation CDs.
Enjoy one of the sweetest moments from the show: The Kooks covering Kids by MGMT. You can find it in on Triple J's Like a Version volume five.

NO PICKLES

Instead of producing ten different pointless promos japanese jeans company Edwin choosed to promote his last collection with an enchanting Easy Rider style short. Hail to the Internet... once again.
The bike theme is partly due to the culture for customisation on the streets of the brand's home city - Tokyo - and simply down to the feelings one experiences riding a motorcycle with friends. A sense of freedom, and of sharing with others the same need for flight and independence. Customisation of ones own motorcycle parallels breaking in ones own denims, unique in spirit.
The true spirit of Edwin Jeans is created by the person living in them, making everyday count with yesterdays memories etched into the rich indigo fabric, in the knowledge that tomorrow’s good times are still to be created.

URBAN COWBOY

Born in England and raised in Thailand, Hugo is the living proof that - as Hank Williams Jr. says - a country boy can survive, no matter where or what.
There’s an aura of late night heat and mystery in his music. His debut album Old Tyme Religion is quite an unconventional record, a mixture of styles and influences in which Hugo puts a tremendous country twist on the classic "99 Problems" as a tribute to the none other than Roc Nation founder Jay Z

HOTBOARDS

Carving on a longboard is already a super cool thing by itself, but it gets dope when the Longboard Girls Crew goes downhill on the Madrid mountains.

SOULBOARDING

Do you think snowboarding has gone a lil' bit too far? Well, by watching superstar riders making circus style triple corks and posing like gangstas in front of the cameras that's exactly what it feels like.
Fortunately the guys form Grindhouse are a lil bit different. This is not an old school vs new school thing, it's simply how this sport is meant to be. The real essence of riding.

The hippie vibe is Venus In Furs by The Velvet Underground.

ROCK THE PASTA

As these days we're playing the new WWE All Stars, i'm gonna celebrate the week-end the american way: some classic rock 'n' roll anthems, unlimited beer cans... and some pasta, i guess.

POND ROCKS
