THE AMERICAN RIVIERA

You can call it post apocalyptic scenario, or ghost town on a large scale, or just another disgrace of mankind: it's The Salton Sea, a shallow, saline, endorheic rift lake located directly on the San Andreas Fault, and one of the world's largest inland seas and lowest spots on earth (-227 below sea level).
Ransom Riggs, an American writer and filmmaker best known for the book Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, went there and filmed his suggestions.
