Forum is proud to announce the newest installment in their vast library of team-inspired videos. After winning back-to-back awards for Forever and Fuck It, a little team Vacation was long overdue. This last season was all about taking advantage of traveling on someone else’s dime, and focusing more on good times than hard work. Ironically, when the pressure went down, the progression of snowboarding went up ... way up.

THE CORRECT WAY

Standing Sideways is Burton's new movie. Releasing this September, it features team riders Terje Haakonsen, Nicolas Müller, Jussi Oksanen, Jeremy Jones, Danny Davis, Mikey Rencz, Frederik Kalbermatten, Keegan Valaika, Mikkel Bang, Kazu Kokubo, Mark Sollors, Zak Hale, Mark McMorris, Ethan Deiss, Alex Andrews and Stephan Maurer.

Fortunately the guys form Grindhouse are a lil bit different. This is not an old school vs new school thing, it's simply how this sport is meant to be. The real essence of riding.

WATCH MY BACK

Do you remeber what Melbourne-based installation artists Eness did for the premiere of Tron Legacy? Well he did it again, this time bringing a new perspective to action sports by fusing interactive art with skiers and snowboarders.

To achieve this spectacle a 21' inflatable sphere hovered between hits as proprietary software mapped 3D visuals onto the snow and sphere. Riders were tracked via an infrared camera as they flew through the air.

FILTHYTALY

"Believers" is the 2011 snowboard movie by Garbage Gang, and it looks like those foolish italians are more pumped up than ever, which is kind of scary.

E pare che sia proprio così, visto che per trasformarsi in Robocop basta indossare una maschera Transcend, nata dalla collaborazione tra Recon Instruments e Zeal Optics. Incredibile ma vero.

Per riprese sportive mozzafiato le GoPro sono tra le migliori telecamere ultra compatte al mondo.

Non tanto per l'ottima qualità delle immagini, quanto per il fatto che, grazie ad appositi supporti possono essere fissate praticamente ovunque, dando così la possibilità di sfruttare facilmente nuove sconvolgenti prospettive.

Ma né i vari CEO della Nokia né tantomeno Jake Burton avrebbero mai potuto immaginare che la cosa potesse dare vita a questo.

"Revolver", ultima fatica della Poor Boyz Productions, è girato in locations da sogno tra Canada, Giappone, Montana, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, Maine, Austria, Svezia, Norvegia, Alaska, e Francia, e mostra alcuni tra i gaps più osceni che si siano mai visti.

A causa della natura esplicita di alcune immagini se ne sconsiglia la visione ai minori di 18 anni.

MONDO CANE

Con il riscaldamento globale che avanza ogni giorno di più vedere un po di neve non può che fare bene, e non ci potrebbe essere occasione migliore per farlo che l'uscita del teaser del nuovo video di Alterna Films "Hello World".

Il livello tecnico, sia dal punto di vista delle manovre che del filmaking è davvero altissimo, e l'inverosimile street session post apocalittica per le strade della Bosnia Herzegovina non può che lasciare a bocca aperta. In uscita a settembre 2010.

Adio va sempre avanti, anche quando il resto del mondo va indietro. E l'intro di "Going Forward" ce ne dà conferma.




E visto che siamo di teasers buttiamoci dentro anche la nuova pellicola della fortunata triade Forum-Special Blend-Foursquare, "F***it" (pronunciato ef-it). Già dal titolo si intuisce un preoccupante menefreghismo verso il naturale instinto di autoconservazione. Foooolish!

IL POMODORO CHE VOLA

Shaun White, conosciuto anche come "the flying tomato", non è solo il personaggio di un videogioco o un alieno che si vede nei video, ma una persona vera; una persona che ancora una volta è il Re assoluto dell'half pipe.
Ha infatti appena vinto la sua seconda medaglia d'oro (dopo quella a Torino 2006) alle Olimpiadi invernali di Vancouver totalizzando 48,4 punti, precedendo il finlandese Peetu Piiroinen (45 punti) e l'altro americano Scott Lago (42,8).
A soli 23 anni, e' cosi' diventato il terzo atleta della storia a conquistare due ori nello snowboard alle Olimpiadi, dopo lo svizzero Philipp Schoch e lo statunitense Seth Wescott.
E nel 2014 ho il presentimento che diventerà il primo a fare l'antologica tripletta.
Anche se personalmente non lo annovero tra i miei eroi non gli si può certo negare una vagonata di rispetto, e stasera ho una mezza idea di come fargli onore.
